‘From’ Season 4: Major Cast And Characters That Shape The Story

From Season 4 Cast

MGM+ series From features a mysterious town that entraps unknowing travelers. The season three finale revealed major background details about the town; we learned that Fromville’s original residents sacrificed their children for immortality, cursing the town and everyone involved in the ritual.

From season 4 is set to release on April 19, 2026 – the upcoming season will hopefully shed light on Fromville’s purpose and how to get out of there.

Today, we’ll explore From season 4 cast and analyze how each character will impact the upcoming season.

Catalina Sandino Moreno [Tabitha Matthews]

The season three finale revealed Tabitha as the central character in Fromville, showing her ties to the town’s creation. We finally understood that Tabitha is the rebirth of Victor’s mother, Miranda. She also turns out to be an original resident of Fromville and the mother of a sacrificed child, who tried to protect the children but failed miserably.

Colombian actress Catalina Sandino Moreno has played Tabitha with perfection. The 44-year-old has been a part of several other movies and TV series, including Ballerina (2025), Silent Night (2023), Barbarians (2021), and The Affair (2014-2019), among others.

David Alpay [Jade]

Jade was driving from New York City to Miami with his friend Tobey when they accidentally got stuck in the town. Although Sara killed Tobey after he was hospitalized following an accident, Jade became a crucial member of the community.

In the third season finale, Jade was Christopher (Victor’s friend) in his previous life. He also turned out to be one of the parents whose child was sacrificed initially. Jade and Tabitha were husband and wife in a previous life and shared a daughter who was originally sacrificed.

David Alpay, the actor behind the character of Jade, previously worked in supporting roles and guest appearances in major TV shows, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Castle Rock, Quantico, CSI: Vegas, and The Vampire Diaries. The Canadian actor has also been a part of multiple television films, namely Ice Sculpture Christmas, The Mistletoe Inn, The Haunted, The Christmas Ring, and more.

From gave David his much-deserved acting breakthrough; his character arc has further established him as a favorite among TV nerds.

Scott McCord [Victor]

The Canadian actor has flawlessly mastered the art of playing the creepy but well-meaning Victor in the MGM+ supernatural series. The 54-year-old has been in the profession for nearly three decades, with 140 acting credits. Previously, he had been a part of popular TV shows and movies; The Sinner, FBI, The Blacklist, and The Recruit are a few of his critically acclaimed works.

In the series From, Scott plays Victor, the longest-living resident of Fromville. Often perceived as creepy, Victor lived in the town for decades before a new resident arrived. As he never really grew up or learned to behave like an adult, he regularly shows child-like behavior even though he is clearly in his 40s.

Harold Perrineau [Boyd Stevens]

Unlike some actors in this list, From is not the breakout show for Harold Perrineau. He previously played the roles of Michael Dawson in Lost, Damon Pope in Sons of Anarchy, Jack in Zero Dark Thirty, and corrupt FBI Agent Nick Armstrong in The Rookie.

Besides his professional accomplishments, Harold is also happily married to his wife, Brittany Perrineau. Brittany, an actress, tied the knot with Harold in 2002. The couple shares three daughters from their marriage: Winter Aria Perrineau, Aurora Perrineau, and Grace Perrineau.

Boyd Stevens, Harold’s character in From, is the town’s Sheriff and an authoritative figure. In the earlier seasons, Harold was shown as the string that held the town together. However, as the series progresses, the town forces him to reconsider his sense of morality.

In the season three finale, Harold considers torturing Elgin to find out Fatima’s location. However, he is spared from committing the cruelty when Sara decides to do it herself.

Douglas E. Hughes [Man in Yellow]

The “Man in Yellow” is a mysterious human-monster hybrid who made his debut in the season three finale. Although he only appeared for a few minutes, he made an impactful entry in the horror series. During his brief screentime, the Man in Yellow manages to kill Jim and reveal himself to be the individual who talked to Jim on the radio.

The Man in Yellow, unlike other monsters, can walk outside in daylight. He will likely be a crucial part of season four as the show is set to explore his origin and his impact in the current cycle.

Canadian actor Douglas E. Hughes portrays the character of the Man in Yellow. With a career extending over four decades, Douglas has tried his hand at acting, voice acting, and playwriting. His most notable acting credits include The Umbrella Academy, Locke & Key, Air Crash Investigation, Suits, and Salem Falls.

Over the last 30 years, Hughes has also been a terrific playwright. He has partnered up with Marcia to write six plays.

Jamie McGuire [Smiley Creature]

The terrifying Jamie McGuire is another character with the potential to significantly impact the fourth season. The terrifying monster has only appeared in eight episodes, but the horror it spreads can keep you up at night. The character was killed by Boyd in the second season, but was born again as Fatima’s child. The horrific scene of his birth shows that the creatures can’t be killed permanently.

Jamie McGuire is an upcoming actor with five acting credits to his name. He made his debut as a neanderthal in the 2015 documentary, Neanderthal Apocalypse. He also appeared in minor roles in projects like Hopeless Romantic, Kids vs. Alien, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes before making his breakthrough in From.

Elizabeth Saunders [Donna]

Born in Bristol, UK, and currently settled in Canada, Elizabeth isn’t just a professional actor; she is also a loving wife and mother of two. The 59-year-old has been happily married to fellow actor Cliff Saunders since 1994. Her husband has also appeared in From as Dale, the guy who dies after entering a faraway tree and getting stuck in concrete. The couple shares two children from their marriage, both daughters named Alberta and Bridget.

Before joining the cast of From in 2022, Elizabeth was known for voice acting in reputed animated shows, including Franklin, Alias Grace, When Hope Calls, and Henry’s World.

In the MGM+ series, Elizabeth’s character Donna is the longest-living Fromville resident after Victor. She is a tough but fair woman, often making hard choices.

Donna is the leader and the foundation of the colony house. She has also often teamed up with Sheriff Boyd to maintain order in the town.

Hannah Cheramy [Julie Matthews]

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Hannah Cheramy started acting at the age of seven. Showing incredible talent in acting, Hannah found her agent when she was 11 and her first acting job the year after.

Julie Matthews, played by Hannah, is a storywalker as described by her brother. We saw a different version of Julie come to warn Jim Matthews, but she couldn’t succeed in saving him. But if Ethan’s wrong about the ability of storywalkers, she could hopefully save her father.

Ricky He [Kenny]

Ricky He’s Kenny, is possibly the most tragic character in From. First, his father gets brutally killed after Sara opens the hospital door at night, allowing the monsters to murder the patients. He also loses his mother, Tian-Chen, who gets tortured in front of Boyd.

Kenny also faces betrayal from Boyd after the latter hides Sara in the basement of the church despite knowing about the murders she committed. As the season progressed, circumstances turned him bitter. However, he eventually comes around and even coordinates with Sara to find Fatima.

Ricky He is a 30-year-old Canadian actor. According to IMDb, Ricky has acted in 26 movies and TV series. His notable acting credits include The Good Doctor, Arrow, and The Flash.

Simon Webster [Ethan Matthews]

Born on August 31, 2012, Simon Webster was only seven when he first took the role of Fred in the Western TV show, When Hope Calls. A recurring character in the first season, Fred is an orphan residing in the orphanage run by Lillian and Grace.

After winning over audiences with his ability to blend with the camera, Simon has shown his impressive acting skills in The Knight Before Christmas, The Lost Symbol, Splitsville, Black Phone 2, and PAW Patrol, among others.

Simon’s onscreen persona, Ethan, is the son of Jim and Tabitha and the younger brother of Julie. He is also Victor’s best friend and one of the lively residents of the town.

During the Matthews family’s initial months in Fromville, Sara is manipulated by a voice to kill Ethan. Fortunately, his life is saved when Sara’s brother Nathan stops her, but loses his own life. The voice asking Sara to murder Ethan and the show’s backstory of child sacrifice might not be coincidences. If Tabitha and Jade don’t find a way to end the cycle, Ethan could be the next.
