Brandeaux Tourville is a typical mid-lifer in his 40s. Natalee Linez’s boyfriend doesn’t use social media quite often, poses awkwardly for photos, and vaguely resembles Jimmy Kimmel. But, most importantly, he doesn’t attempt to hide who he is, and Natalee loves him for it.
A tech entrepreneur/1st Assistant Director by trade, Tourville is 44 years old, while his younger partner is only 31. Their huge age gap is often a topic of their adorable TikTok exchanges.
During a session of the Ground Up with Natalee podcast, the duo discussed their age difference and the role it has played in their relationship. Linez acknowledged that the two are at different stages in their lives; she is still a youngster working to establish a career in the industry. Meanwhile, her boyfriend has already passed the struggling phase, enjoying a fairly stable work life.
By their sheer admission, Natalee and Brandeaux have vastly different mindsets and personalities. But, this works in their favor as Linez can learn from his experience and wisdom, while Tourville enjoys being with a young and thoughtful girlfriend.
A Brief History Of Romance
The CIA actress and her partner kissed goodbye to their single lives in 2022. Their relationship wasn’t a match made in heaven; instead, it was arranged on Instagram by a mutual friend.
Brandeaux initiated with a DM on her Instagram; it was a risky move that failed horribly. Natalee disregarded the message and ghosted him for a while. A mutual friend had to step in and personally vouch for Tourville’s virtue before she finally gave him a shot.
Brandeaux agrees that approaching a stranger on Instagram was a risky action, as there was a great risk of rejection. But he overcame his fear and made the first move.
Their relationship is not perfect, and both agree with it. They even confessed to going couple’s therapy, but the fact that they are willing to work on their issues shows their love for each other and commitment to the relationship.
Childhood Discussion Turns Emotional
During the podcast, Brandeaux also opened up about his childhood and upbringing.
The emotional exchange between the couple began with Brandeaux commenting on his parents’ divorce when he was only four. Tourville was born in Dallas, but after the divorce, one of his parents moved to Los Angeles, while the other settled in Portland.
Brandeaux’s father married thrice; he has plenty of stepsiblings. But, he doesn’t use the term “step” as he considers all of his half-siblings as a part of his big family. Nor, Brandeaux believes he is a victim of divorce; he, instead, prefers using the term “beneficiary of divorce” as he got a large family and got the opportunity to grow up in California and Maine.
He Is An Executive Producer
Brandeaux, a graduate of the University of Maine, began working in multiple roles until he landed a break as a production coordinator on the 2008 movie, The Sno Cone Stand Inc. Later, Tourville worked as a production assistant and also a second assistant director for Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron and Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 before commencing his independent journey as a tech entrepreneur in 2013.
