We might be familiar with NateWantsToBattle, an internet pseudonym of Korean-American singer Nathan Sharp. Just a couple of years back, his relationship with Cristina Vee, aka Cristina Valenzuela, was all over the headlines.
While it seemed like the beginning of a perfect journey, the pair would eventually part ways. What happened between those two? Have Sharp or Vee moved on to a new relationship?

Breakup After Dating For Less Than A Year
While the connection between Nathan Sharp and Cristina Vee can be traced back to 2017, they remained tied for only a year. Either way, Vee used to tweet several things about Sharp, commenting about his dimples on her since-deleted X post.
She has collaborated with him on several music videos. They were even seen on a Q&A session with their fans at Metrocon 2017.
As they became closer, she took to X on January 7, 2018, to announce the news of her engagement with Sharp. Sharing some lovely snaps of them, she wrote:
“Nathan and I are so excited to announce that we are engaged. Thank you guys for your support! I’m so incredibly happy!”
The duo even had fun celebrating Sharp’s 29th birthday on the 1st of March, 2018, touring in Honolulu, Hawaii.
It seemed like they were over the moon, but in reality, things didn’t work out as expected between them. They surprised us by breaking their engagement in August 2018 after dating for less than a year.
In a since-deleted tweet in August 2018, Sharp explained the reason behind the split:
“Hey everybody. This is hard to post, but Cristina and I will be going our separate ways. I’ve learned that spiritually and emotionally I am not in a good place and as a result I didn’t treat her with the respect and support she deserves. I have all the love in the world for her and wish her nothing but the best. We ask that you respect our privacy in this as that is the best thing to do for moving forward with everyone’s loves. Thank you all and take care.”
The breakup came to be a major shock among the Neitzens. As time went on, Vee was able to find her new love interest. But what about Sharp?
Cristina Vee Moved On
Within a year after her split with Sharp, Vee started dating voice actor Griffin Burns in 2020. They even collaborated on the song Unworthy of Your Love (From “Assassins”).
Unfortunately, Vee and Burns seem like they couldn’t cherish the relationship further. In January 2022, she announced her engagement to Michael Espero.
But what about Nathan Sharp’s girlfriend and his relationship status?
Currently Focused On Phantom Burial Tour
After his breakup from Vee, it looks like Nathan Sharp has yet to find a new girlfriend. The 36-year-old voice artist has yet to comment on this matter.

He is currently focused on the Phantom Burial Tour, which is set to be in March 2026. He will be joined by the special guests Genwunner and Cam Steady.
The tour, which starts on the 25th of March 2026 from Las Vegas, Nevada, is set for almost a month, with the final performance in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 18, 2026.
Before Vee, he dated YouTube content creator Morgan Want. The Give Heart Record founder still has a Facebook post in which he wished a birthday to his ex-girlfriend. It was way back in January 2014.
