Due to her unique talent and artistic abilities, Ally was nominated as a finalist for the Make Up Influencer of the Year at The Irish Make Up Awards. The nomination brought deserved recognition to her talent and also helped promote her business.
Previously, McGinn was affiliated with Benefit Cosmetics as a makeup artist. However, the partnership eventually ended, with Ally moving on independently.

Ally isn’t just a makeup artist; she also regularly uploads tutorial videos to share her unique makeup ideas. As a freelancer, McGinn regularly collaborates with leading fashion and makeup brands to brand genuine products, ranging from foundation to eyeliner. She has already worked for several popular brands, including Simplif-eye, Pearla Bay, Demure, and more.
But that’s not all. Ally is also an emerging makeup influencer with a growing fanbase on Instagram. At the moment, she has garnered nearly 30k followers on Instagram. Ally Is A Mum To An Adorable Daughter
Ally shares a daughter, Holly Keane, with her former partner, Brian Keane. Born on May 25, 2015, Holly is currently 10 years old. Peter and Holly have developed a deep liking for each other, with the latter even attending the Rome premiere of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Ally’s former partner, Brian, is a fitness trainer and sports nutritionist. Brian is also the author of the best-selling book, The Fitness Mindset, and a well-known fitness podcaster.
Over the years, Brian and Peter have become good friends. When Peter was cast in the HBO series, Brian was among the first to congratulate him.
The fitness trainer also welcomed Peter as a guest on the Brian Keane Fitness podcast, where the latter talked about the audition and the anxiety attack he suffered before getting the role of Ser Duncan the Tall.
They Started Dating In 2018
Claffey and McGinn celebrated the seventh anniversary of their relationship back in May 2025. Although the pair started dating in early 2018, they didn’t come out publicly until the end of the year.
Back on February 26, 2023, Ally hinted at a possible engagement of the two. The post captioned “Engagement party ready” featured the beautiful couple in matching outfits, alongside a clenched fist with a faint outline of an engagement ring.
The couple’s chemistry immediately raised eyebrows, prompting some of her followers to rush to congratulate the two on their special moment. However, neither Peter nor Ally has shared any updates on an upcoming wedding.
